About Marc
Marc plays Trumpet and Flugelhorn, to complement different genres and timbres of music. He performs on the legendary Eclipse Artist Trumpet for a truly beautiful vintage sound. Marc can also cater for all different types of events and play as a self-contained setup with equipment if required. I began studying the trumpet at the age of eighteen. My close friends encouraged me throughout my early years, having been professional musicians themselves. I soon developed a passion for playing trumpet. During that time I've played in various bands including “Flora Symphony Orchestra”, “The Quirinus Band & Bugle Corps”, “High Five Brass Quintet” and the Party and Cover Band “Die Kleinenbroicher” to name just a few. In 2011 I was given the enviable opportunity to study and advance my Big Band skills with the world-famous trumpeter Thomas Inderka. I also studied with the international trumpet legend, Gábor Tarkövi, one of the world's best classical and solo trumpeters. During my time at the Quirinus Band and Bugle Corps I have been the principal trumpeter and regularly appearing on many Military Tattoos. I am as well a respected Trumpet teacher and have been teaching for many years. My extensive touring has seen visits to various parts of Europe. Marc is a very skilled musician. He would be able to enthuse and motivate any player on most, if not all brass instruments. He is a stunning player, patient with pupils, completely fluent in English, and is regularly in demand from bands and orchestras as a soloist in the UK and EU. If you get a chance to have lessons with him-I would grab them. I recommend him.
