About Massimo
I am a professional trumpet player and music educator based in Los Angeles with a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston. I have performed internationally, toured professionally, and work actively as a freelance artist in jazz, funk, soul, and contemporary music.
In addition to performing, I have extensive teaching experience working with beginners, developing students, and serious pre-college musicians. I focus on disciplined fundamentals, healthy technique, and long-term growth rather than shortcuts.
Students and parents appreciate my structured, goal-oriented approach and clear communication. I hold high standards while keeping lessons focused, encouraging, and practical.

I am a professional trumpet player and educator based in Los Angeles with a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the New England Conservatory. I have performed internationally and currently work as a touring and freelance artist in jazz, funk, soul, and contemporary styles.
My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals: tone production, range development, articulation, breath control, and musicality. For intermediate and advanced students, we work on improvisation, stylistic awareness, audition preparation, and performance confidence.
I specialize in:
• Beginner brass foundations (ages 8+)
• Middle and high school audition preparation
• Jazz improvisation and theory integration
• Adult beginners and comeback players
