About Noa

My name is Noa, I work as a professional technical designer and CNC operator at a high-end fabrication shop in LA, making custom furniture and fixtures for A-list clientele. I also work for myself, designing and building flat-pack style CNC furniture using no glue or fasteners - enjoying the creative process of turning 2D drawings into 3D objects. I am a 30-year-old queer trans man, I have a master's in design from SF State, I am passionate about many things including design, music, art - you can find me on the weekends in my studio playing healing frequencies on my modular synths. I'm super easygoing and very friendly, looking forward to working together!

About the lesson

My lessons are completely personalized to your needs.
My lessons are for all levels! No degree or previous knowledge needed - just genuine interest in the topic is all i ask!
If you are a beginner starting from no knowledge of 3D programming - great! We can start with the very basics, and work our way up from simple models to more complex ones - sticking to things that interest you.
If you know the basics and just need some clarity on a few things, or need to figure out how to do one specific thing i can also help you with that!
For CNC modeling I will share with you my design process and methods - then we can look at your ideas together and figure out how to execute them.
For our lessons we will meet on zoom, share screen, I will show you how to do something first and then you will complete each task as I go - and we can build something together.

Noa is absolutely one of my favorite teachers I’ve learned from. Noa’s extremely skilled, yet humble and looks at the world through the beginner’s lens, which makes it feel really safe to learn with them. If they don’t know something they are quick to figure it out with you and then put their own creative twist on it. Noa’s also such a chiller to be around, and hella funny which makes it so easy to spend time with them.
