About Tsz hei

I am an experienced table tennis coach currently working with children, young people, and adults in Brighton and Sussex. I coach at Worthing Table Tennis Club, Hollingbury Table Tennis Club, and the University of Sussex, helping players of all levels — from complete beginners learning the basics, to competitive juniors training for local league and tournaments. My approach is structured, engaging, and tailored to each player. Lessons focus on developing solid technique, improving footwork and tactical awareness, and most importantly, building confidence and enjoyment of the sport. Sessions typically include a balance of drills, demonstrations, and match play so that students can immediately apply what they learn. I welcome: Children (8–18 years) – beginners or developing players aiming for league level. Adults & young professionals – whether for fitness, social play, or competition. Schools and clubs – looking to introduce table tennis or strengthen their teams. I take pride in creating a positive, professional environment where every student feels supported while being challenged to improve.

About the lesson

My Approach to Coaching Table Tennis I believe table tennis coaching should be structured, engaging, and tailored to each player’s goals and abilities. My sessions combine technical training, tactical awareness, and fun drills to help players not only improve their strokes but also build confidence and enjoy the game. Techniques & Methodology I use a step-by-step progression system, starting with grip, stance, and control, then moving into spin, footwork, and match tactics. Training is interactive: players spend most of the session hitting balls, with clear demonstrations and feedback from me. Match play and fun challenges are included to apply skills in real situations. Lesson Length A typical session lasts 2 hours. For beginners, sessions may be 1 hour to keep focus sharp. Advanced or competitive players often benefit from training sessions of 2 hours or more.
