About Heather
Having gained my 1st Class BMus and MMus with the Royal Northern College of Music I have taught in schools, communities and privatly at home for the past 7 years. Recently I was asked to take part in a residency with Samling Academy, teaching budding young opera singers in a masterclass series lasting 3 days.
As a professional opera singer, I have been lucky enough to work for the UK’s leading opera companies as a chorister and soloist. I am currently a soloist at the Royal Opera House.

Learning to sing should be fun, easy and exciting, which is why I love to create lessons tailored to your needs and goals. It could be that you would like to work towards an exam, a concert you have coming up, performing for a special event or just singing in your shower; whatever the reason you would like to have lessons, they should reflect you and your way of learning.
I offer 30 minute or 60 minute lessons and the first 30 minutes as a free consultation. I teach all abilities from newbies to consummate professionals and everyone in between of all ages.
My lessons are always structured towards what you are working on i always encourage and never judge, singing is a very personal experience and as such I like to create an environment where you can explore your own voice in a safe and enjoyable place.
