About Dante
I've been a musician for over 15 years. I started in church singing in choirs and went on to do musical theater and performing at live gigs and studio recording. I currently teach piano and vocal lessons here in Philadelphia, PA. I've traveled the world singing with choirs and playing music for humanitarian non-profits. I've had the pleasure of working with all types of people. I enjoy sharing knowledge and skill with others that are interested in learning. I also have a strong interest in teaching English and I think English and songwriting are so closely tied together. Because I am a songwriter, I also love the inner workings of the English language! I've written copy for many major brands as well as ghostwritten two books and working on one of my own. Can't wait to meet you.

In my lessons I spend time learning the goals of my students and make a plan with them on how to accomplish those goals. We will go over the basics of said subject/instrument while we establish best practices to ensure comprehension and critical thinking. When teaching music, it's important that I know what kind of music my client likes, this way they can have a vested interest in the lessons that we have. Music takes time to learn and encourage my students to be present and enjoy the process. The more comfortable you are with the basics, the more enjoyable music will be. Can't wait to teach you.
