About James
Hi, I'm James! I'm a professional gospel recording artist with over 15 years of experience performing and coaching singers. I have a Grade 8 Distinction in Pop and Rock Vocals and a genuine passion for helping singers find their voice.
I've coached hundreds of students from nervous beginners to confident performers across gospel, soul, pop and inspirational genres. Whether in one-to-one sessions, small groups, choirs or bands, I bring the same energy, patience and commitment to every single student I work with.
My students don't just improve but they grow in confidence, personality, expression and their love for singing. That's what I'm here for and I would love to be part of your journey!

I believe in having a tailored approach to each of my students to enable you to learn in the best way that suits you. I start by listening to your voice, listening to your aims and goals, understanding your passion for singing and help guide you towards reaching that goal.
My lessons are typically 45mins to an hour depending on what is needed in that session. I keep sessions engaging, exciting, funny and targeted towards having measurable improvements.
I am a professional gospel recording artist with a great deal of experience with pop, soul and inspirational music and over 15 years of performance and teaching experience. I have coached hundreds of singers individually and in groups, led choirs, directed my own bands and mentored students at every ability level and age. I am known for my patience, encouragement and ability to bring the best out of every student I work with.
My lessons are open to all ages and levels — from children discovering their voice for the first time, to adults singing in church choirs, to aspiring professionals preparing for performance. If you have a voice and a desire to grow, you are welcome here.
