About Easton
I enjoy guiding college students as they develop confidence and skill in playing the piano. With over 17 years of teaching experience, I believe every lesson should encourage creativity, discipline, and a genuine love for music.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and easy to understand. I explain every topic in simple English and use practical demonstrations that help students learn comfortably and confidently.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital learning platforms, rhythm exercises, ear training, listening practice, and personalized lesson plans. These methods help students stay motivated while improving both technical and musical skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, dynamics, and expressive playing. I provide regular progress reviews and personalized guidance that encourage long-term improvement.

My teaching methodology is based on making piano learning enjoyable, practical, and easy to understand. I believe every student has unique learning abilities, so I first understand their goals, experience, and interests before planning lessons. This helps me create a learning path that suits each student and allows steady progress.
I use real-life examples and practical case studies to explain music. Rhythm is connected to daily activities like walking, clapping, and speaking. Music theory is taught through familiar songs so students can understand how scales, chords, and melodies work together. These examples help students apply their knowledge while playing.
Understanding is more important than memorizing. I teach each concept carefully and encourage students to ask questions. Every lesson builds on the previous one, helping students develop confidence and strong musical skills.
Communication is an essential part of my teaching. I explain concepts in simple English, demonstrate techniques clearly, and provide regular feedback. I encourage students to share their challenges so we can work on solutions together. Parents are also updated whenever necessary.
Integrity guides every lesson I teach. I believe in honesty, respect, punctuality, and professionalism. I encourage regular practice, patience, and discipline because lasting improvement comes through consistent effort.
Apart from piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, chord progressions, improvisation, accompaniment, finger exercises, and beginner music composition. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning throughout their lives.
