About Taylor
I am passionate about teaching piano and have over 14 years of experience working with college students. My goal is to make music learning simple, enjoyable, and rewarding for every learner.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student's strengths and learning style. I explain every concept in simple English and use practical demonstrations to make lessons easy to understand. Students are encouraged to participate actively and build confidence through regular practice.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital learning platforms, ear training, creative rhythm exercises, and personalized lesson plans. These methods help students stay motivated and make faster progress.
My lessons include finger techniques, note reading, scales, chords, posture, rhythm, and musical expression. I provide constructive feedback and customized practice routines so students can continue improving with confidence.

My teaching methodology focuses on helping students learn piano with confidence, patience, and enjoyment. I understand that every student has different goals and learning abilities, so I create a personalized lesson plan for each learner. This approach allows students to progress comfortably while building strong musical skills.
I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain every concept. Rhythm is compared to everyday actions like walking, speaking, and clapping, while music theory is taught through songs students already enjoy. These practical examples help students understand how music works in real situations and make learning easier to remember.
Understanding is the most important part of my teaching. I explain every topic carefully and make sure students fully understand before moving to the next lesson. Instead of only memorizing notes, students learn the purpose behind every exercise, which helps them become independent musicians.
Communication is always open and supportive. I explain lessons in simple English, demonstrate techniques clearly, and encourage students to ask questions freely. I provide regular feedback and practice guidance so students know how to improve after every class.
Integrity is one of my strongest teaching values. I believe in honesty, respect, punctuality, and commitment. I encourage students to practice consistently and stay motivated throughout their learning journey.
Besides piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, chord progressions, improvisation, accompaniment, and beginner music composition. My goal is to help students enjoy music while developing confidence and lifelong musical skills.
