About Ricardo
I have a Cum Laude degree in Jazz Piano from University of Miami.
I have played professionally for more than 25 years.
I have taught since I was in college and I consider teaching music my main mission in life.
I love to teach and the glow in the eyes or a student when he or she discovers something new in music, fills my heart.

I help adult piano students to learn and improve their skills in jazz and pop piano through a systematic and well organized approach to learning and practicing piano.
My teaching methods include clear communication with my students about their goals as well as the obstacles they're facing.
In a typical lesson I usually cover: 1) Technique, 2) Harmony, 3) Repertoire and 4) improvisation.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my willingness to try different ways to teach and approach a subject depending on the unique characteristics and ability of each student.
I can teach from begginer to advance students.
