About Nacho
I am a 28 year-old pianist originally from Sevilla, Spain. I started playing piano when I was 5, and my objective as a musician has always been both telling stories and expressing emotions with music and sound.
I have a Bachelor Degree on Piano Performance by the Royal Superior Conservatory of Madrid (Madrid, Spain), a masters degree in Classical Piano Performance by the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland), and a masters in Contemporary Performance by the Manhattan School of Music (NYC).

About the lesson

We'll go song by song, piece by piece, always listening and improving the sound that's coming from the instrument, and working on the emotional substance that you want to transmit with each piece. At the same time, we will work on the technical difficulties of each piece, so that you sound better and better!
My preferred format of class is 1h 30min, where we methodically work through different aspects of your musicianship. This includes:
–technique building through building a routine of scales and arpeggios
–music reading skills through sight-reading work in the lesson
–musicality, expression and repertoire building through preparing the songs/pieces you choose
–harmony and structure understanding through analysis of famous songs/works
–ear training exercises
Musical skill-building is not an easy or fast process. It requires daily training, which you have to expect if you want to see results. Your progress will be directly proportional to the amount of time you practice outside of the lessons.
