About Jacob
My passion for music and belief that it is a beautiful form of self expression make me delighted to be able to share it with you and help you explore the world of music however you wish to. My lessons are tailored to a student's own tastes, so I can help whether you want to train your ear and improvisation and adventure into jazz, understand music theory, play classical music, or write your own music! Ultimately, my aim is to help you learn to play the music that you genuinely love and enjoy. This could be anything from Debussy, to Ed Sheeran, to Super Mario!

Strong focus on creativity, improvisation and self expression, which makes for fun and exciting lessons! Typically lessons are an hour in length however they are completely adaptable to your needs. I am above Grade 8 standard in piano and focus mainly on jazz and popular music, but also cover lots of classical music too and have taught piano for 3 years. Lessons are open to any age from complete beginners to intermediate level.
