About Barny
I have a passion for music, and aim to inspire people to explore their own passion and creativity. It brings me joy to see students develop their musicianship and achieve their goals. I have had the privilege of assisting several people earn a place at conservatoire and win local competitions, as well as achieve high level grades. Music is my life, and I endeavour to pass on the tools to anyone who has a love for it.

I teach basic and advanced technique, on how to approach the piano and gain mechanical command over the keyboard. I teach sight reading, theory and most of all, how to interpret and express different styles of music artistically. Lessons usually last between 30-60 minutes. I have been teaching for 10 years, and finished my course at university as a qualified concert pianist back in 2016. I currently teach in schools, and have had a variety of students taught privately from my home over the years. I tailor my lessons to fit anyone of any age, background and ability, who wants to learn the piano, and make music.
