About Sarah
My name is Sarah, I am a graduate of Philosophy from the University of Nigeria,Nsukka. I graduated as the best student in the department of Philosophy, 2010. After I graduated I discovered that I had passion for teaching students. I went on to obtain certification in Phonics and Elocution. This became a spring board for me to become a phonics teacher. As a Phonics teacher I make a lot research which helps to widen my horizon of the subject matter. This new discovery birthed the reading and spelling strategies which has helped a lot of students who could not read to start reading fluently and confidently.

My approach to teaching is student centered. I design my curriculum to suit student's learning needs. This helps to make the course easy to understand. I get feedback from students, through asking questions, assignments, evaluation based on topic taught, notes e.t.c.
With the principles of phonics I developed a reading strategy or system to help struggling readers overcome reading hitches.
In addition to these,I teach children how to spell words in an interesting way called "spelling by category."
