Olga has been giving me piano lessons for over 5 years. She is a highly professional teacher. She is attentive to detail and teaches me to position my hands and move my fingers correctly to get the best sound. She gives me helpful and fun exercises to improve the sound I can produce. She has a good method of teaching to sight-read music, which is one of the greatest difficulties of playing the piano for me, and she has improved my abilities to sight-read dramatically. She is very versatile as a musician and as a teacher - she accompanies songs by ear in a very creative and beautiful way, she plays classical music and modern music including jazz with equal passion and mastery and teaches her students to play different genres. She has a vast collection of music for all levels, which she constantly replenishes and she teaches her students to convey the style and the feelings through their performance. She is keen to give her students an opportunity to play in public and she has arranged several concerts in her church, where I performed myself and had an opportunity to listen to her students of different ages and levels enjoying playing the piano. She and her students have also performed at the charity concerts that I arranged, and their performance always made a deep impression on the audience. I can certainly say that the students, who put in the effort, have achieved truly amazing results under Olga's guidance. Now due to the quarantine we had to move our lessons on Skype, and Olga's instruction on Skype is just as effective as face-to-face. Olga is a very skilled pianist herself and has a huge range of music she can introduce into the lessons.
