I am Fathy Ghonim, a professional Oud teacher with over 20 years of experience in Arabic music. I have a deep passion for sharing the beauty of the Oud and Arabic musical traditions. I want to teach because I believe music is a universal language, and the Oud is a profound tool for storytelling and expression. Through my lessons, I aim to help students not only master the instrument, but also connect with the rich heritage behind the music. I look forward to guiding you on this musical journey!

I am Fathy Ghonim, a professional Oud teacher with over 20 years of experience in Arabic music. I offer personalized online lessons tailored to each student’s level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. In my classes, I teach correct hand techniques, Arabic maqamat, and improvisation (taqsim). Each lesson is typically one hour long, conducted via Zoom. My teaching methods focus on both technical precision and musical expression, ensuring a deep connection with the instrument.
