About Ryder

Hi, I'm Ryder Green. I'm a professional guitarist with 20+ years of playing experience and 10+ years performing professionally fronting my own acts and playing for others.

I offer personalized online guitar lessons for beginners, intermediate players, and advanced guitarists looking to take their playing further.

As a working guitarist, I teach the same techniques, practice methods, and musical concepts I use in real-world playing.

The focus is on practical skills that actually translate to your playing—not just memorizing scales, patterns, or exercises.

• Learning songs the right way — including the details, techniques, and parts that make the original recording sound the way it does
• I work with both acoustic and electric guitar players and specialize in:
• Blues guitar Rock and classic rock guitar
• Lead and rhythm guitar
• Improvisation and soloing
• Technique and picking Phrasing, timing, feel, and dynamics
• Developing a more confident, expressive playing style

Every lesson is built around your goals.
Whether you want to learn songs, improve your technique, play better solos, understand improvisation, or simply become a more confident guitarist, we'll build a clear plan around what you actually want to accomplish.

How I Teach:
I keep lessons practical, personalized, and easy to apply.
Rather than overwhelming you with unnecessary theory or generic exercises, we'll focus on the things that will make the biggest difference in your playing.
While the most important part is putting in the time and practicing, my goal is to give you the tools, knowledge, and direction to practice intentionally and reach your goals faster and more efficiently.

You'll get clear direction on what to practice and how to apply it, so you can continue making progress between lessons.

Who I Work With:
Beginners: Build strong fundamentals and good playing habits.

Intermediate Players: Break through plateaus, improve technique and musicality, and develop a more professional sound.

Advanced Players: Break through plateaus and refine technique, phrasing, improvisation, tone, feel, and musical expression.

As an active performing and recording guitarist, I bring real-world experience from live shows, studio sessions, and the demands of being a working musician.
