About Guillermo
Guillermo Rojas A. is a Latin American musician living in Paris.
With his own style and adventures derived from various disciplines and musical genres, he has managed to become a versatile performer who stands out for his artistic career in jazz, Latin music and concert music, including chamber music, symphony orchestras and various experiences in solo projects.
He graduated with honors from Universidad Central (Colombia) and under the mentorship of Troy Breaux, he obtained a master's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USA), where he was named a finalist for the Outstanding Master's Graduate award and was recognized for having maintained a cumulative grade point average perfect. There he also became assistant professor for "World Music Appreciation" and conductor of the UL Latin Jazz Ensemble.
He participated and directed projects of an independent nature, also in institutional and public sector projects . His professional background in music has also been linked to the academy. As an educator and teacher, he has traveled through institutions teaching the fundamentals of music, ensemble conducting, percussion and drums, music theory and listening training, demonstrating skills for collective work. and skills to implement multiple educational strategies.
Guillermo is a certified instrumentalist who plays avidly, teaches with integrity and has the leadership to develop various projects, making music an indispensable tool for transformation social.

This course is intended for all those who wish to learn about music theory, as well as to deepen and develop notions that they already have.
My methodology adapts to needs, to objectives, and above all to the personality of each student. Through various fun activities, I offer challenges that will allow you to understand the world of music and develop your musicality and creativity.
Together, we can learn to read sheet music, understand harmony , have fun with the rhythm, train our ears or simply reinforce the musical fundamentals.
