I am a great music enthusiast, double bass performer and general music instructor. After 20 years of study and experiences obtained in South Africa, Europe and the United States, I am excited to share my knowledge and help promoting the importance of music and the arts in South Africa.

I use a variety of teaching methods depending on the level and needs of the student. Every student is different and require a different approach especially for a big instrument such as double bass. In general I focus on combining both the musical and technical aspects of the subject in one lesson and try to create a learning environment where the student can develop on his/her own terms and tempo.
