About Alex
I am an interdisciplinary musician and composer. Hearing the “Imperial March” in the Star Wars films at the age of seven, I wanted to learn to play an instrument. I now compose for a variety of cross-media genres including theater, film and dance. Recent collaborations include music for a host of projects, including award-winning shows with companies such as Alvin Ailey, Rambert, ThisEgg Theater, Anqa, English National Ballet, Ephemeral Ensemble, Fool's Cap Theater / Vinicius Carvalho, Cie Mangano Massip , and more. I have played in several groups as a multi-instrumentalist and I accompany and lead movement and dance workshops as a musician / accompanist.
I am English, still new to France (Paris) and can't wait to meet and teach new people here.
Apart from music, I love spending time outdoors in nature, especially near the sea!

I offer unique lessons according to the student's wishes. I adapt my lessons according to the weather, the goal is to play professionally, or just to be able to play your favorite songs and to get satisfaction and pleasure from music.
