About Alex
I am a professional musician and have been giving private, online, and in-shop lessons for the past 6 years. In my time as an instructor I have taught over 20 students and have always enjoyed the challenge and reward that comes with teaching a new skill. I am able to tailor lessons to any individual’s needs, as well as offer real world experience and guidance in the music industry. I have 2 years of touring experience and have released three albums under major record labels in the metal genre.

There is nothing comparable to the feeling of learning your first riff, your first solo, of writing your first song, or of playing with other musicians for the first time. Playing guitar is a joy that has enriched my life and I wish to share it with all who are eager to learn.
I create lessons based on each individual's wants and needs for growth. In general I like to spend the first half of the lesson focusing on exercises and theory, and leave the remaining time to teach a specific piece of music that the student wishes to learn.

1 Hour lessons: $30.00
If you must cancel a lesson, please let me know with 24 hrs of the scheduled lesson and there will be no charge. If no notice of absence is put in within 24 hrs of the lesson, a $15.00 absence fee will be added to payment.
