About Shelby
I am a 'no stone unturned' individual, meaning I consider every option or perspective when helping others. My education and professional background will help me to help you succeed. I have taught different age levels of middle and high school students, and have helped train adult professionals in my career as both an educator and healthcare technology professional. I communicate very well and can make sure I do everything in my power to help you succeed. Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction + Biology, Ph.D. in Digital Learning Technologies. Lots of real-world and educational experience!

With my experience, I can offer you high quality preparation and learning with real world examples. I can help you prepare for what matters most to you - whether it be pedagogical skills or content-centric. A typical lesson plan would include variety. I would facilitate a quick lesson, have some great visuals and easy-to follow-videos, checks for understanding, and gamification with practice questions. I offer a variety of grade levels and can help differentiate instruction based on the unique learner. I am skilled in teaching the whole student and making sure they have everything they need to be successful.
