About Olivia
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 11 years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple, engaging, and effective. My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and learning pace. I focus on building strong basics and gradually improving skills. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to help students become confident musicians.
I also include song-based learning and practical exercises to make lessons interesting. My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop good practice habits. I believe in creating a friendly and motivating environment.

Creativity is a key focus of my approach. Students explore improvisation, compose original music, and experiment with different genres, helping them develop originality and artistic expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering steady progress and a positive learning environment.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
