About Clara
With 13 years of experience teaching Piano, I enjoy helping college students achieve their musical goals through engaging and personalized lessons. My aim is to make every class enjoyable while building confidence, discipline, and a strong understanding of music.
My teaching approach is student-focused and flexible. I explain every concept in simple English and adapt lessons according to each student's learning style, interests, and goals. I encourage active participation and regular practice so students continue improving with confidence.
I use innovative teaching methods such as technology-assisted learning, rhythm training, ear development, creative keyboard exercises, and personalized song practice. These approaches make lessons interactive while helping students strengthen both technical ability and musical expression.
Students develop skills in note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, dynamics, and expressive performance. I provide constructive feedback, regular progress reviews, and customized practice plans that help students become confident and independent piano players.

I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, practical, and rewarding. My teaching methodology focuses on helping students build strong musical skills while developing confidence and creativity. Every lesson is personalized to match the student's learning pace and musical goals.
Real-life examples and practical situations are included in every lesson. Students learn rhythm through everyday experiences, understand harmony using familiar songs, and apply music theory while playing. These practical methods help students remember concepts naturally.
Understanding is at the heart of my teaching. I encourage students to understand every lesson instead of simply memorizing notes. Step-by-step learning helps them build a strong foundation and become independent musicians.
Communication is clear and supportive. I explain every concept patiently, answer questions with care, and provide encouraging feedback after each lesson. Students receive easy practice plans that help them improve between classes.
Integrity is one of my strongest teaching values. I maintain honesty, professionalism, and respect while encouraging students to practice regularly and achieve their goals with confidence.
Along with piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm training, improvisation, accompaniment, chord progressions, and beginner composition.
