I hold a degree in Popular Music Performance from Salford University and a PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University, and I’ve spent the last five years working as a high school music teacher. Alongside teaching, I’ve gained real-world experience performing in cover bands and with my original band, Casino Club. My qualifications include: ABRSM Grade 8 (Classical Guitar) Rockschool Grade 8 (Electric Guitar) ABRSM Grade 5 Theory I offer lessons for everyone from complete beginners to advanced players. My main focus is pop and rock guitar, helping you play and understand the songs you love — often within just a few lessons. For beginners, I provide a 12-week structured course that teaches you how to read chord charts and tablature, play full songs confidently, and build solid rhythm and technique. For students looking for formal progression, I also teach graded exams from Grade 1 to Grade 8 with both Trinity and Rockschool syllabuses, tailoring preparation to ensure you’re confident and exam-ready.
