About Ruby
I am a guitar tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar. I have worked with over 150 students from complete beginners to intermediate and advancing performers. My lessons cover classical, jazz, blues, acoustic, and electric guitar with strong technique and music theory throughout every course. I am passionate about helping every student find genuine joy and creative confidence in their guitar playing. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and always tailored to the individual student. I have helped students perform live, record original music, and pass graded examinations with strong results. Let me help you build guitar skills you are genuinely proud of.

My guitar lessons develop technique, creativity, and musical understanding in a progressive and genuinely enjoyable way throughout every session. I begin with a thorough assessment of each student's current level and goals so lessons are always immediately relevant from the very first session. Warm-ups build scales, chord changes, and picking technique for physical coordination and musical fluency at every stage. Theory connects directly to the music students are working on throughout every lesson so nothing feels abstract. Songwriting students receive dedicated coaching on chord harmony, melody development, and arranging original ideas into finished compositions. Performance students work on stage confidence and delivering consistent performances under real pressure. I use backing tracks throughout to develop timing, groove, and genuine musical expressiveness. Digital tools including DAWs and amp simulators are incorporated to reflect today's modern music-making landscape. Clear weekly practice plans ensure consistent progress and always give students a focused home practice routine. My commitment is for every student to become a technically solid, creatively confident, and deeply passionate guitarist.
