About Ashley
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college students, and working professionals in their musical journey. Teaching guitar has allowed me to meet learners from diverse backgrounds and help them discover the joy of music.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalised instruction. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, so I design lessons that match their goals and abilities. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students can learn with confidence.
My lessons cover chords, scales, rhythm training, fingerstyle techniques, music theory, ear training, and song performance. I emphasise both technical development and musical expression to help students become well-rounded musicians.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students participate in school functions, college events, and community programmes. Their growth and achievements continue to inspire me.
My aim is to help students enjoy learning, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has different abilities and learning styles, so I personalise my lessons according to their needs and goals. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without fear of making mistakes.
I teach Guitar through a step-by-step approach that focuses on building a strong foundation. Beginners learn proper posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm patterns, and basic chords. As students improve, they move on to scales, strumming techniques, chord progressions, fingerstyle methods, and song performance. Advanced students are introduced to improvisation and creative expression.
I encourage regular practice and provide continuous feedback to help students improve steadily. I believe that patience and consistency are important for long-term success.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, music notation, and basic songwriting. These additional subjects help students understand music more deeply and become complete musicians.
My goal is to help students develop confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
