About Estelle
I’m a guitar tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering, guitar-focused. I love helping students improvise across jazz and blues while discovering their own musical identity.
My teaching approach is supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented, suitable for school students, hobbyists, and professionals. I emphasise modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing to develop improvisational skill and expression.
I’ve taught learners from intermediate to advanced levels, including those preparing for professional gigs. Lessons balance technique, theory, and creative exploration. Students gain confidence, spontaneity, and a distinctive musical voice.
We work on melodic development, phrasing, and expressive soloing. I guide students to create solos that feel natural and unique.
Whether refining jazz lines, blues phrasing, or preparing for live performances, lessons are tailored to your goals. Together, we’ll explore the joy of spontaneous musical expression.

My teaching approach brings music theory to life on the guitar. I guide students through scales, modes, chord construction, and harmonic analysis, showing practical fretboard applications. Lessons are hands-on and structured for immediate use.
Students practise linking chords and scales, analysing harmonies, and applying theory to solos, riffs, and original pieces. I focus on comprehension over memorisation and encourage creative musical choices.
I work with both Aspiring Rock Stars and Classical Purists, adapting lessons to their style and goals. Lessons combine theory, technique, and practical application to ensure fluent, expressive playing. Together, we build a strong foundation for improvisation, composition, and confident performance.
