About Susanne
I believe that we open a door to a new world when we learn another language. German is complex, but not complicated. I open the doors for you, guide you safely. And you just need to go through those doors.
I am German Native and besides holding my University degree in German as Foreign Language, on top of that many years of experience in teaching German for all levels and at Universities, High schools and nowadays one on one lessons online.
My students are High school students, adults that fell in love with a German, people that want to study at the best Universities in Switzerland and Germany, people that want to work in Germany and wish to be fluent within 4 years. Whether we work on exam preparation or your very individual goals, I am confident I can guide you and you will be surprised that learning with ease while having a structure is possible.
I myself speak 3 languages and I know how it feels when learning. It can feel at times slow and frustrating, however, I promise you I can guide you with confidence and a lot of different creative exercises in mind. Since every person is unique and learns different I like to listen to what your preferred way of learning is and I will then find an enjoying way to progress steadily.

I am always happy to offer a free complimentary class of 60min. No expectations afterward.
We would meet online on Teams (a free learning app). My approach to teaching depends on the individual, on your learning style and your likes and dislikes. Usually, I practice all skills: writing, reading, speaking, pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar. I am creative and can turn every exercise into a wonderful exciting challenge.
I am Susanne, a German Native and with University degree (5 years Magister) in German as Foreign Language. I taught 10 years German Language for all Levels at Sydney University. For many, many years now I have been teaching German now as a Freelancer and Private Language Tutor offering individual one on one lessons online.
My lessons are for Teenagers from 13 years of age and adults. I welcome all Levels, also absolute Beginner learner. Maybe you'd like to learn German for personal reasons or maybe you need me to prepare for your HSC in German. Maybe you need help with homework or maybe you are going to move to a German speaking country for work. I'd be delighted to guide you with the expertise and experience I have gained.
Atypical class can be between 60min and 2 hours long. We can schedule classes flexibly, either weekly or fortnightly. Whatever suits your schedule. These days I try to schedule my classes between Mondays and Wednesdays.
I really like for you to take advantage of a free trial class. This way we can chat about your short and long-term goals and you can get to know my teaching style. I have no expectations for you to continue afterward.
I am responsible, very eager to reach fluency in German with you and guide you to exam results with flying numbers.
