About Marion

My educational qualification and background? I am a native French speaker working in the field of Education/Child Protection. I am holder of a Bilingual master’s degree in education, management and training (French/English). I got a bachelor’s degree in project management in International solidarity and I am also a certified social worker specifically in childcare. I have an International professional background and I just settled in London after 2 years in Cameroon working as a child protection officer at UNICEF. My experiences as a Tutor? I have been a French teacher in a school in Morocco for a year, an amazing experience to teach my language to a class of little children (5 and 6 years old). I enjoy developing playful activities, learn more about them to follow their rhythm. I like to be creative to stimulate their curiosity and use their interest to involve them in learning. I am interested in the child-centred educational approach. Also, I have plenty of experiences as a tutor and my goal is still to help children and adolescents to get confident. As a social worker, my support was very specific and for children excluded from the school system. It was more about resume academic learning in a safe relationship, with a lot of encouragement and goodwill. My teaching technique? I want to allow learners to feel free, involve and enthusiastic about their language learning. I am very attentive on identifying the weaknesses and strength of the learner thus helping them to reach their targets. I adapt myself to needs and expectations with interest. The learning experience is based on well-prepared activities to motivate in learning and improve written skills, listening and speaking French. It is also an exchange and it is supposed to be fun! My asset? I am passionate about education and I have been very interested in bilingual pedagogical practices this year and I can say that it is not just about learning an additional language but more about creating awareness of the differences and similarities between culture and languages in order to develop citizens that will be able to adapt into the multilingual world of tomorrow. I would be happy to advise parents about bilingualism and multilingualism. Perfect! French Tutor Recommendation
Marion tutored my daughter from January, visiting our home in Dulwich on a weekly basis.
My daughter really looked forward to her lessons with her as she found them motivating and enjoyable. Marion was encouraging and friendly and my daughter always felt comfortable asking questions. My daughter's grades have improved tremendously as a result, particularly in her written work.
I would highly recommend Marion as a tutor.
