About Ned
I am a fingerstyle guitarist who studied at Bath College and Bath Spa doing music production and artist development. I have played in multiple musical projects and continue to build a youtube channel from doing covers and writing songs, and am hoping to teach others who want to specialise in the Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel thumb picking style of playing.

My method will be to not only cater to each student and help them learn songs they actually have an interest in, but also to employ methods to give them the tools to teach themselves guitar in their own time, which may involve listening techniques and studying other players. I will also use methods that break down picking patterns to make them more simple to learn, and will also encourage players to write their own material and offer ways to improve.
