About George
I taught English in a school in Saint Petersburg, Russia, for 4 years. In addition to that English teaching experience, I've also got TEFL, CELTA and a 1st class BA in Journalism and Creative Writing.
I use real, proven methodology in my lessons and I always aim to keep them dynamic. We don't just translate words or open a book and plod through the exercises, instead we use engaging activities wherever possible to practise, review and produce language.
If you want help with English at school, college or university, my linguistic theory and teaching experience will be very useful.
Regarding Russian, I have two certificates TORFL B1 (first certificate in Russian) and TORFL B2 (second certificate in Russian). I speak and write fluently and with an awareness of tone and register. Using my years of teaching experience, I can help you do the same.
