About Adriana
I am a professional Engineer with more than five years of teaching/tutoring expertise. I have the ability to explain concepts in an easy and understandable manner and can effectively interact with a diverse population of students at a variety of academic levels.
I have prior experience working with International Banks, business companies, and as a teacher in a Bilingual School and as tutor in different learning Institutes.

Working with high school students can be a challenge, especially if we're meeting to help them bring up low grades. One thing I do when I meet the student for the very first time is to ask them questions about their interests, like sports, school subjects, music and movies. In the math problems that I create, I incorporate references to these interests.
We also play the teacher/student activity where I ask them to explain me the topics they are currently studying, as if they were the teachers, and make them realize by themselves, with my questions as if I were the student, the little mistakes or wrong answers they are giving me.
I follow the same topics they are currently studying. I really want the students to succeed and I share in their success.
