About Harvey
I truly think econometrics is an amazing subject. In a world of muddled thinking and “fake news”, it gives us rigorous tools for establishing facts and drawing conclusions about the world. Almost any question about society is an econometrics question! I give students the foundational tools to succeed in their examinations, and - hopefully - to go on to be inquisitive and critical thinkers in society.

Econometrics is a fascinating subject but many students find the formalism difficult at first. I help students master the technical details so that the subject becomes intuitive rather than a nightmare. I have over 15 years of experience working as a professional economist and tutor, so I am used to different ways of approaching the subject, and can tailor material to a wide range of levels.
