About Kimberly
I am from California and have been dancing my whole life. Most of my training was under Northern California Dance Conservatory as well as multiple summer intensive programs across the country. I have competed in international ballet competitions and have an intense repertoire history. I moved to Tacoma, WA for my first company contract and danced with Tacoma City Ballet as well as Fever. I started teaching 3 years ago and most of my experience is through YMCA Pearl Street teaching for all ages. Now that I am back in California, I want to keep spreading the love and knowledge of dance.

I have been teaching for 3 years for all different ages and genres. I have a set of lesson plans that have been adapted through experience and learning what each student needs. My main skill area is ballet; however, I have experience in contemporary, modern, and jazz as well. I am very patient and can always find a new way to explain a concept so that everyone can understand. I want my students to feel confident in the learning process and take more than just dancing from practicing.
