About Annabel
I am a dancer, based in London, and regularly perform, teach and create. I have both a Masters and a first class honours degree in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School. As I performer, I have worked with choreographers such as Alleyne Dance, Riccardo Buscarini, Igor X Moreno, Leila McMillan, and Marakiscrycrycry. I have 6 years experience as a dance teacher, teaching mainly ballet, contemporary (technique and creative), jazz and tap to ages 2-18, but have worked collaboratively with a wide age range from 14-74. I am also trained in gymnastics, aerial (silks and hoops), and musical theatre.

My teaching method is very much based upon the individual(s) in the class. I tailor the level to suit the participant(s), so it is at a level which pushes them to improve, but is realistic and motivating. My lessons are always structured, but I will happily deviate from the plan if I find something is more interesting to explore. Depending on the students goals, my classes can either be fully set and taught movement phrases, technique classes, or guided improvisation and creative sessions.
