About the lesson

As a dance coach, my approach is built on a combination of deep technical foundation and real-world experience. I started dancing at the age of five, and over the years I’ve trained both competitive dancers and social dancers, including students who have gone on to become world champions. This allows me to adapt my teaching to different goals — whether you want to compete at a high level or simply feel confident on the dance floor.

My teaching method focuses on three key elements: technique, body awareness, and individuality. I break down complex movements into simple, understandable steps, helping students not just copy, but truly understand how their body works. I also place strong emphasis on musicality, connection, and confidence, because great dancing is not only about steps, but about expression and feeling.

A typical lesson is structured but flexible. We usually start with a short warm-up and body activation, followed by technique work (such as posture, balance, or specific movement mechanics). Then we move on to choreography or combinations, where the student applies what we’ve practiced. At the end, we refine details, work on performance quality, and discuss feedback so you clearly understand your progress and next steps.

What sets me apart is my ability to work with both high-level competitive dancers and social dancers. I understand the demands of professional dance, but I also know how to make the learning process enjoyable and accessible. I don’t use a “one-size-fits-all” method — every student gets an individual approach based on their level, goals, and personality.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced dancers. I work with teenagers and adults, as well as those preparing for competitions or those who simply want to improve their skills and confidence in social dancing.

Oleksii is not just a coach, but a mentor who helps students grow not only technically, but also mentally — building confidence, discipline, and a strong personal style.
