About Sebastian

I've been playing piano for more than 20 years now. I studied my undergraduate and master's in Colombia, focusing on classical piano and composition. I just finished my Ph.D. in composition at The University of Auckland. Still, piano keeps being an important part of my life, and I keep practicing. I've been teaching piano lessons since 2015 in a variety of contexts, and I love teaching piano as much as I love playing it.

About the lesson

I focus on the musical styles that the student wants to play, but always focusing on good technique and music sheet reading. Having a good skill in those last two things makes a student advance a lot faster than others.
