About Erika
I am a performer and educator based in London. I regularly appear as a soloist and chamber musician across the UK and internationally. I hold degrees from both the Royal Academy of Music (MA and LRAM teaching qualification) and the Royal College of Music (BMus) in London.
With over a decade of teaching experience, I work with students aged 4-70+, ranging from complete beginners to advanced players. I hold teaching positions in both primary and secondary schools in London and run a busy private teaching practice.
I have loved teaching since the first lesson I taught in 2014. I am deeply passionate about helping students fulfil their potential and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn an instrument and explore music in a way that they find enjoyable and rewarding. As a teacher, I am known for my enthusiasm, empathy, and commitment. I derive genuine joy from supporting students in exploring their own musical and creative voice while simultaneously building confidence.
I have extensive experience of entering students for ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool exams with a 100% pass rate.
