With professional experience across industries like sales, retail, hospitality, and pharmacy in Sydney, Australia—I bring a unique, business-oriented perspective to my teaching. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to visit over 30 large multinational companies during my study tour in Shanghai and Scandinavia, gaining firsthand insight into business environments and practices in China. My background allows me to offer not only language proficiency but also the cultural and practical knowledge to thrive in professional or personal settings involving Chinese. Teaching is a way for me to share what I love: seeing ambitious learners, like you, develop confidence and expertise in Chinese. I understand the unique challenges of learning for professional growth, and I design each lesson with that in mind—whether it’s refining industry-specific vocabulary, mastering conversational skills for networking, or preparing for travel to Chinese-speaking regions. Outside of teaching, I’m an avid traveler, having explored Scandinavia, Dubai, and parts of China, with a passion to see even more of the world. I also enjoy playing table tennis and pool, and I value building genuine connections with my students. About the lesson Drawing from extensive experience, including a Shanghai and Scandinavia study tour visiting over 30 companies and professional roles in sales, retail, hospitality, and pharmacy, I bring real-world language expertise to my intermediate and advanced Chinese lessons. My bilingual skills in Chinese and English allow me to provide clear explanations and bridge cultural nuances effectively. Each class is crafted with specific learning goals, integrating vocabulary, grammar, and immersion techniques to enhance fluency. Lessons are interactive and tailored to individual needs, using engaging materials and activities inspired by my practical experiences. Beyond language, I incorporate cultural insights from my professional background, offering students a well-rounded understanding of Chinese business, social customs, and more. My passion for travel—having explored Scandinavia and various parts of China—enriches each lesson with a global perspective, perfect for learners with a passion for culture or travel. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing table tennis and pool, and I look forward to sharing not only language skills but also my enthusiasm for cultural exchange and exploration. Prefer online teaching, although travel to physical places is fine too with an added cost for travel time and transport methods compensation. Only travel for distance 20km away from me.
