About Byron

I have been an ASL Interpreter for over 15 years. EIPA Certified 4.1. I've worked in different settings such as educational, medical, mental health, social security, entertainment, VRS and VRI. I have also worked in states such as California, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, New York City, Maryland, and Montreal.

About the lesson

I have been interpreting for 15 years all over the US and Canada! I can tailor my lessons to your needs. From basic ASL signs to more complex sentence structures and ASL translations/interpretations. My experiences ranges from educational, medical, mental health, professional, entertainment and much more! I'll help you develop not only your ASL production skills, but also will help you develop your receptive skills and how to formulate better interpretations!

Perfect! I had a good hour lesson with Byron. He gave me pointers and encouraged me to work (looks like I'll be glossing!) and I tried some new things, other than just vocabulary. I hope next time we can get screen sharing going a bit better though. Thanks, Byron!

Once I got a hang of the signs and substance, he signed it with me, then spoke the words as I signed them, and then had me drill it and pushed me to be faster and better. Great lesson, I appreciated his approach.
