About Habib
My name is Habib. I am an Iranian visual artist and art educator based in Germany, with a deep and ongoing interest in perception, abstraction, and the hidden structures of form and space. My artistic practice spans drawing, painting, and visual research, often centered around the question of how we can perceive the world beyond its visible surface. I am particularly drawn to the quiet rhythms, patterns, and spatial tensions that shape both our inner experiences and the environments we inhabit. In both my creative work and teaching, I aim to foster a heightened sense of visual awareness—an invitation to slow down, look closely, and engage more consciously with the language of form, color, and composition. I hold a Ph.D. in Art Education, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Painting.

How to See Abstractly How to Think Abstractly Exercises for Understanding the Visual Structures That Shape Our Environment.
In this course, we will explore how to shift from literal, representational seeing to a more abstract and intuitive visual perception. Through guided exercises, we’ll train our eyes and minds to recognize patterns, rhythms, and underlying forms within our surroundings—beyond what is immediately obvious.
We’ll also engage in creative thinking practices that challenge habitual ways of interpreting the world, helping us to see not just what is in front of us, but how it exists in relation to space, movement, and emotion.
This is not just a class in drawing or visual analysis—it is an invitation to experience the environment with fresh eyes, and to develop a deeper, more personal visual language.
