Hello, I have known Abeer for many, many years and can safefly that with Abeer, you get a knowledgable and patient teacher. He helps you see the world as only an artist can, when he guides you through the steps and explains why and how you see things your mind and eyes expand to new heights. His enthusiasm is contagious and inspires even the most novice of artists.

I had never drawn or painted before (not properly anyway), and my first proper lesson was with Abeer. After the lesson, I had learnt how to look at the landscape with a fresh perspective.

I had always liked the idea of learning to drawer and paint properly, and ‘apparently’, as a five year old I was pretty good! As I got older though, I lost the imagination/focus, and found it difficult to find a focal point to even begin. This would put me off starting the picture altogether.

Abeer showed me how to regain focus, and find the confidence to start. When I was drawing, I was trying to draw in the way in which I thought others may like to see it. Abeer lead me to approach it more subjectively, to incorporated my individual personality into what I was creating - not just copying a style that I believed was pleasing to the majority.

I feel I have the confidence to keep going with it now, and plan to create some personal art to fill some beautiful wooden frames!!
