About Robi

London-based artist, and educator (UCL IOE graduate, with an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art). I’m friendly, focused, and patient, and I enjoy helping learners feel confident step by step. I’ve supported creative learning in museums and education settings across London, including roles with the Natural History Museum's learning project and Goldsmiths University of London.

My teaching style is structured but encouraging: I explain clearly, check understanding, and adapt to each student’s pace. I care about creating a calm, supportive space where students feel comfortable trying new things and improving steadily.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, constructive, and step-by-step.
I start from the basics—getting comfortable with painting and drawing materials such as pencil and ink, watercolour, acrylic, and oil paint—and build strong foundations in observation and drawing objects (shape, proportion, light and shadow), background and character as well. From there, we develop your fine art skills further by introducing composition and colour, so you can create more confident and finished pieces.

If you are interested in manga/anime-style drawing, I can also support character-focused work: drawing poses, understanding body structure, facial expressions, and line quality. I can help you plan a page clearly, improve storytelling flow, and organise panels so your work looks more professional and readable.

Lessons are always adapted to your level and pace, whether you’re a complete beginner or at an intermediate stage and I focus on helping you improve with clear guidance, encouragement, and manageable practice between sessions.
