Hi, I'm Elizabeth!

I'm a professional Actor-Musician, music teacher and vocal educator based in London. Since graduating from Rose Bruford College with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Actor Musicianship, I have built a career combining professional performance with music education.

I recently completed a UK tour with Leeds Playhouse, Chichester Festival Theatre and Shakespeare's Globe as an Actor-Musician in MakeBeth, an interactive production combining live music, puppetry and storytelling. Alongside performing, I teach music in schools and one-to-one settings, helping students develop their musical skills, confidence and enjoyment of performing.

Over the past few years, I have taught singing, beginner piano, as well as leading choirs and creative music workshops. I have experience working with children, young people and adults of all abilities, including students with SEN. I have also worked as a musical director, arranging and creating music for theatre productions.

My training as an Actor-Musician has given me a unique approach to music-making, combining strong technical foundations with creativity and expression. Whether helping a beginner play their first song, developing vocal confidence, exploring acting through song, or preparing a student for a performance, I love helping people discover their own musical voice.

When I'm not teaching or performing, I enjoy exploring new music, attending live performances and continuing to develop my own craft as a musician. I'm passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring environment where students can grow in confidence, develop their skills and enjoy the process of making music.

About the lesson

I'm a passionate music educator, professional Actor-Musician and vocal teacher with experience teaching in schools, music academies and one-to-one settings. Alongside teaching, I perform professionally with Shakespeare's Globe, bringing real industry experience, creativity and musicianship into every lesson.

My aim is to create a safe, supportive and encouraging space where students feel confident to explore music, develop their skills and enjoy the learning process. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual, whether you're a complete beginner, returning to music, or looking to develop your performance skills further.

I teach beginner piano, singing for all abilities and music skills including musicianship, confidence and performance. Singing lessons can focus on vocal technique, breath and support, confidence, musical expression, acting through song, audition preparation or simply finding and developing your own voice. Piano lessons focus on building a strong foundation in technique, music reading, rhythm and musicianship in a fun and engaging way.

My lessons combine technical development with creativity. Depending on your goals, we might explore songs, vocal exercises, performance skills, music theory, rhythm activities and practical musicianship exercises to help you grow as a well-rounded musician. Whether you are learning for enjoyment, preparing for performances, building confidence or developing your musical abilities, lessons are designed around you.

I have experience teaching children, teenagers and adults, including students with SEN and neurodivergent learners. I am passionate about creating inclusive lessons where every student feels supported, encouraged and excited to make music.
