Working method: The dance technique that I usually use is mixed. I do some Marta Graham routines, I use Pilates and Yoga for warm up and stretching. I work on the pelvic floor, like the unknown muscles that activate the entire sexuality chakra. First I take loose steps of the traditional African styles of the countries: Guinea-Conakry, Mali, Ivory Coast, also of the Afro-American styles such as funk, hip-hop, house, etc. And of course from Brazil and Cuba the Latin thing. The method of my choreography is purely African, it is called the repetition method. It consists of making a sequence of steps in a loop (Loop) so that it is registered in the body memory. Structure of a class: - Half an hour of warm-up, half an hour of steps or choreography (If the class is one hour) - Half an hour of warm-up, half an hour of single steps, half an hour of choreography and half an hour of streaching. (If the class is two hours long)
