About Bryant
I am an electronic composer, sound designer, and guitarist who specializes in electronic music production techniques, digital audio theory, and traditional music theory. I have experience with various theories of music composition and music production technologies. Since I teach these concepts, I practice relating my technical knowledge in qualitative terms, so I can communicate effectively with students on different technical levels. I am first and foremost a composer. I think "composer" characterizes my balance of intuition and technical rigor when engaging in the process of solving problems. Recursive curiosity, problem solving, and understanding fuel my creative process. If I am to be creative, I must necessarily be curious and eager to solve new problems.

I want to make it easier for people to leverage technology and express their creativity. I think any person can be creative, and esoteric tools and theory should be the last thing standing in their way. I want to help students make true computer music: sonic compositions that can only be realized with the use of our modern technology. These new technologies often seem out of reach, and other curricula attempt to demystify them by beginning with the fundamental theory of the technology instead of focusing on what can be done practically with simple, accessible tools. I start with the practical applications and leave the theory to be investigated later as students progress and develop their curiosity.
