About Betsy

I am an enthusiastic guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, working with high school, college, and adult learners. I have taught 150–200 students, each with their own goals and dreams, and my focus is always on helping them succeed in a fun and motivating way. My lessons combine technical guidance, real-life examples, and encouragement, ensuring that students feel confident and inspired.

One of the most rewarding experiences for me has been preparing students for live performances and seeing their joy as they accomplish something they never thought possible. I believe music is a journey of self-expression, creativity, and growth, and my mission is to guide every student on this journey while helping them fall in love with the guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Guitar is practical and based on everyday music. I believe guitar learning should feel useful and enjoyable. Lessons are built around real songs and common playing situations so students can apply skills easily.

Case studies are used to explain how guitarists solve common challenges. Problem-solving techniques help students improve timing, strumming, and chord clarity. I explain each solution patiently and clearly.

Motivation plays an important role in my classes. I encourage students with positive feedback and achievable goals. Integrity is central to my teaching, and feedback is always honest. My flexible approach allows lessons to change based on learning speed and musical interest. In addition to Guitar, I also teach basic theory, rhythm training, and simple music reading.
