About Garance
I was born and raised in Paris. I studied double bass and singing at the National Conservatory of Paris for 8 years. In 2009 I moved to New York to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since then I have worked in films, theater and for the National Radio in France. I moved to Copenhagen 4 years ago. I have been involved in many artistic projects in Denmark. In addition to my artistic career I work as a substitue teacher at the Lycée français Prins Henrik. I share my life with a danish sound engineer and together we have a 2 year old daughter.

I studied in France and have a bachelor's degree in literature. When I lived in France, I gave tutoring to children and teenagers for many years.
I can very easily come up with exercises to work on a specific topic, for example: a grammar rule, the conjugation of verbs in a certain tense.
I am used to helping children with their homework. I am currently working as a substitute teacher at the Lycée français Prins Henrik. I can follow a given curriculum while developing parallel exercises to reinforce the student's knowledge.
For people who wish to strengthen their oral skills, I organize conversational sessions. These sessions are organized around a topic chosen by me, which corresponds to the student's level and personal interests. I have an extensive literary and film library at home. I can therefore easily lend books to students.
I also offer short readings on current topics that can be discussed afterwards. It is important to work on your oral diction. As I am an actor myself, I can propose exercises to work on articulation, pronunciation and phrasing.
