About The Young
I am a trumpet performer and educator from Spain, currently based in Georgia. I began my musical training as a cellist before focusing on the trumpet, an experience that strongly shapes my musical approach and teaching philosophy. I finished a Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance at UT Austin and I have performed internationally with ensembles such as M5 Mexican Brass and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. My teaching emphasizes musicianship, listening, and healthy technique, with lessons adapted to each student’s individual path and goals. (Also, I make the best bread in Georgia)

I love to work across multiple styles and repertoires, always keeping music at the center of the learning process. I help students prepare for band and ensemble auditions while developing solid technique, musical understanding, and confidence.
The method adapts to each student, their level, pace, and goals, not the other way around, supporting healthy, steady, and long-term progress.
